Account Deletion

You can delete your NutroSnap account at any time. Account deletion removes or unlinks information that identifies you, subject to legal, security, and technical limits described below.

How to delete your account

In the app:
1. Open NutroSnap
2. Go to More
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@nutrosnap.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

What gets deleted

Within 30 days, we aim to delete or unlink:

Account credentials and account identifiers
Email address and authentication records held by us
Profile details, including age, height, weight, goals, allergies, conditions, and targets
User-linked meal logs, reports, saved outputs, and subscription entitlement records where held by us

Reasonably de-identified data

Meal photos, meal descriptions, nutrition estimates, and related app data may be retained after account deletion only in a reasonably de-identified form for product quality, safety, nutrition-estimate improvement, and analysis. Before retention, we remove account identifiers, email addresses, direct account links, EXIF metadata, and other linkable data where reasonably practicable.

If you want meal photos and meal logs deleted in full, email privacy@nutrosnap.com with the subject "Full Meal Data Deletion Request".

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your NutroSnap account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Cancel it through Apple first if you want to avoid future charges:

Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > NutroSnap > Cancel Subscription

Third-party data

Data already processed by third-party providers, such as OpenAI, Supabase, Apple, or storage providers, may be subject to their own retention and deletion processes. We will take reasonable steps available to us to process deletion requests through our providers where required.
